About:

Vernacular started manufacturing bags and soft goods in 2019. 

We are based in West Oakland, California.

We only make things that we find useful and nice looking.

Most bags are sewn in house, with so much love.

Most apparel is sewn in San Francisco & Oakland, California.

We are not perfect and do not/will not know everything ever about making things/running a business but we are planning to never stop learning.

We believe that humans/the cards they were dealt are wildly nuanced and treat all customers equally.

 

Answers to questions you might have:

We no longer make Go Fast Camper Frame Packs or Sklar Bikes Frame Bags.

We do not do any custom work.

We do not work with influencers, we are firm believers informing your own decisions and influencing yourself.

We do not offer local pickup, sorry!

Shipping/Returns:

We do 1-2 post office runs a week, orders generally ship out the week the order is placed.

We use USPS and UPS exclusively.

We take returns on unused products within 2 weeks of delivery date, unless noted otherwise. Buyers are responsible for return shipping. Refunds will be issued once the unused product is received.

Sometimes we skip town and take a week or two long trip, if not now, when? This can change the lead times stated above, drop a line on the contact page if you need something on a timeline.

If you're buying something from outside the US know that you are responsible for taxes/duties.

All shipping addresses/full names must be provided in roman characters.
